Dr. Marguerite Rawalt was both a successful attorney and longtime champion of women’s rights. Among her many accomplishments, she directed the incorporation of the first national foundation dedicated to providing information and research to and about working women around the world: Business and Professional Women’s Foundation. In 2002, BPW Foundation made a donation of thousands of books to the Willard Wirtz Labor Library.
